{the table}

From our beginning, we have gathered around shared meals and shared stories. Partly, we’ve enjoyed this grace because two in our community are culinary artists. More than this, however, we believe in the sacramental nature of simple beauties. We believe Jesus meets with us in our laughter and in our friendship and in the many conversations we share wrestling with our disappointments and sin as well as reveling in our hopes and joys.
We want to offer this same experience to a small number of pastors The Table provides an intimate two year communal experience set in the Blue Ridge and Rocky Mountains where we give attention to the state of our soul and the true longings of our heart. The times are structured around textured conversations, experiential encounters, morning/compline prayers, quiet and leisure. The Table is not a conference. In some ways, it is more than a retreat. The Table offers meaningful engagement with God emerging from the context of hospitality, friendship and a shared sense of both our brokenness and our hope in God’s restoration. {2010-2011 table} in progress, look for application in Fall 2011 {how} By application, space limited {cost} Primarily a gift, funded by Genesis Project.
